The growth of the audio-visual sector has exploded phenomenally over the last few decades. Low cost digital phones with cameras have democratized filmmaking and put into the hands of every person the means of saying something through the audio-visual medium. The growth of the internet YouTube, Facebook and Social networking sites have provided outlets to unforeseen creativity.

I strongly believe that every technician has to be an artiste first and every artiste must learn the technique to express himself and every business skill must connect with its clients with the right energies and pulse.

I am glad that the sincere efforts of our team paid off and within a short period of five years of operation WWI has been recognized as among the Top Ten Film Schools of the World.

While we set up Whistling Woods International (WWI) in the heart of India’s Film making Capital Mumbai, after extensive research and drawing from experiences of some of the finest Film schools of the world, we worked on evolving a new educational model that ensured our students a firm footing and good traction with the Media and entertainment industry.

We set up technical infrastructure to match the future needs of the industry, we drew faculty from among the global giants of the field, we developed a challenging International curriculum and we built into it all, an incredible scope for the individual to experiment with his ideas in the art, science and business of media and entertainment.

WWI believes that as an expensive art form Cinema cannot be limited to personal expression like painting, photography or writing can.
