Dhananjay Khore, Head of Department

Dhananjay has completed his Bachelors of Fine Arts & Painting (BFA) and holds Diploma in animation film making at ZICA under the expert guidance of the Russians. In 1998 Dhananjay handled his first assignment as a Sequence Coordinator for India’s first full length animation feature film. His involvement in the film extended from doing research on Historical facts, Conceptualisation, Visualisation, Storyboarding, Character designing, Animation to leading teams during the production of the film. Entitled “Bhagmati – The Queen of Fortunes,” the film was produced by Zee Telefilms at ZICA Studios, Mumbai and won recognition at the Cannes International Film Festival,2003. Dhananjay took charge as the Head of Training and was a key player in the Training management team. He has worked on other client projects ranging from TV commercials to short films and fillers for local channels and also a core faculty member. Was heading western region of the ‘zica animation training academy ‘as regional manager

Savita Iyer

Savita Iyer started her career as a texturing and lighting artist. She had worked with Ittina animation studios, and then moved on to Pixion studios. She also has many prestigious freelance projects to her credit, and has also worked on television episodes like Barnyard, DVD series of “my friend tiger and pooh” for Disney, advertisements like “Limca laptop ki Barish” for O & M, she has done lighting and texturing for mere “Bhains ko Anda kyon Mara” promo for Sahara One and also Feature films which are releasing soon. She is presently lighting and texturing faculty at Whistling Woods.

Jasbinder Singh

Jasbinder Singh – Pre production , Art Direction and Production Designer . Fondly known as Jassi in the animation industry. He has created a new, visionary visual style & designs for 3D feature film 'The Dream Blanket' after in-depth study of Tibetan culture and Thangka Paintings. Jassi has also art-directed and designed I, an animated rock-opera and a music-video In the Air, for Epiphany Films.

In the past, Jassi has also done visual development for a tv series at UTV Toons, project headed animation projects at Grey Advertising , Mumbai, and headed the Layout and BG department at Zee Network for an animated feature Bhagmati. He has done lot of freelancing of story board(films),illustration for books, mobile game,concept arts etc, had taken workshops,teaching while in production too and devloping his own concepts & ideas for IP.
